What does CFK do with the items collected?

All of the items on our price lists are recyclable.

CFK believes that re-use is the best form of recycling. The items collected are remanufactured
or refurbished for resale. Re-use prevents the pollution that results from the manufacture of new items and the decommission of used items. Re-use requires less consumption of natural resources.

If items are too damaged for re-use, they are broken down and the raw materials are recycled. All end-of-life recycling takes place in the United States.
  Does CFK follow federal regulations?

As an environmental steward, Cartridges for Kids® is committed to recycling in strict compliance with all federal, state, county, and local regulations.  We are registered with the EPA. (EPA #COR00021898)  We encourage all recycling and know that if you choose CFK, it will be done correctly.
